He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
The picture behind "restoreth" is "destroy the house (leave nothing behind)".
This is the Hebrew word for "repent" or "return".
Could it be that Psalm 23:2 is about the Father creating a safe environment for us, in which we are then able (in Psalm 23:3) to: "destroy the house", to repent, to return to relationship with Him?
I have spent most of my life working on the house that Richard built!!!
Now is the time to destroy that house in favour of the "house not made with hands" the house that is my unique God given purpose.
