Returning To Covenant

Psalm 91:1
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

The word picture behind "dwells" is "the work of returning" or "to have a house".

This begs the question: The work of returning to what?

We find the answer in the word picture for "house" which is "inside the covenant".

There is no more important work for us than to keep returning, to keep positioning ourselves inside covenant relationship with God and with each other.
