Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
The word picture behind "and I will dwell" is "to have a house".
Exodus 20:17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house....
In English we consider the word "covet" as having negative connotations.
Whereas in Hebrew the meaning is more positive: "take pleasure in, delight in".
It all comes down to the question: where is my focus?
Do I daily take pleasure in and delight in the house, home and family that I have, or am I always directing my pleasure and delight towards the house, home and family that someone else has?
