Work Becoming Worship

Psalm 23:6
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

The word picture behind "all the days" is "to work, making secure support".

In Hebrew work and worship are exactly the same.

Colossians 3:17 And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

When our work is the expression of our unique God given purpose it becomes pure worship.

When our work is an expression of our unique God given purpose it creates security and support for everyone around us.
